Electronic music has always had the most conceptually fearless artwork, partly because there is often no band to photograph. Kraftwerk's man-machines, Aphex Twin's grinning intrusions, the Designers Republic's information overload — sleeves that look like design manifestos. Cropped to a detail, several of them still give themselves away in a single texture.
