80s Album Cover Quiz

The eighties pulled album art in two directions at once. Peter Saville was stripping Factory Records sleeves down to a colour code with no band name on them at all, while MTV-era pop was going the other way into airbrushed gloss and neon. Both are in this pool, cropped tight — and the decade's minimalists are exactly the ones that punish a casual eye.
