60s Album Cover Quiz
The sixties are where the album cover stopped being packaging and started being art. Blue Note's Reid Miles was cropping photographs like a Swiss modernist, Andy Warhol was putting a banana on a record, and by 1967 a sleeve could be a gatefold puzzle you were expected to stare at for an hour. This quiz crops those covers down to a single detail and asks whether you know them as well as you think you do.
Ten rounds, four choices, no timer — and every choice is also a 1960s cover, so there is no giveaway option to eliminate. The pool holds 38 covers, which is enough that two games rarely look alike. Get one wrong and the full sleeve zooms back out with a link to the story behind it: who designed it, who shot it, and why it looks the way it does.
