Fever to Tell by Yeah Yeah Yeahs — album cover art

Fever to Tell (2003)

For their 2003 debut, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs handed the cover to a 19-year-old art student who took the job 'in about two seconds.' Karen O mailed him a copy of the hip-hop film 'Wild Style' and asked for something that looked like peeled-back subway flyers: beautiful and trashy. What came back is pure zine chaos.
