The Best of Muddy Waters by Muddy Waters (1958)

Chess Records' first compilation LP and only their third LP overall, collecting twelve of Muddy Waters' biggest hits from 1948-1954. Released in April 1958, it became the blueprint for modern blues and influenced countless rock artists including the Rolling Stones, who took their name from the album's "Rollin' Stone."
